Moto Sushi transformed an existing Rancho Bernardo restaurant into a new Japanese style hot spot. The design concept divided the space into 3 areas: Mountains, House and Fields. The “Mountains” on the left side are represented with large geometric Interlam art panels. The “House” is the open Kitchen, with wood finishes and beautiful red and brown organic tiles. The “Field” is the Dining area with stained earth tone concrete floors.
On the walls surrounding the “Field”, Keoni painted a graphic mural of Cherry Blossom trees which glow with LED up lighting tucked behind the banquet seating. Large pendant lights hang over the Dining area which were refinished in a red silk to represent lanterns. The restaurant is modern and simple with a very warm feel and inviting environment.
The 4,500 square foot San Marcos space was originally a restaurant, which was completely redone with outside play areas, swimming pools, Grooming Rooms, and Romper Rooms.
